Your Privacy
To ensure a good therapeutic process, it is necessary that I create a file for each client.
In your file, you will find your name, contact details, date of birth, therapy goal[s], the intake details you shared through the intake form(s), in-depth medical details, and information about the course of the sessions.
I do my utmost best to ensure your privacy. 



This means that I: 

- handle your personal and medical information with care
- make sure no one has access to your data. As your therapist, I am the only one who has access to the data in your file. I have a legal obligation of confidentiality (Professional Secrecy).


The purposes of recording the data in your file are:
- to navigate through the therapeutic process
- evaluation of the therapeutic process
- enable contact with you as a client


The data can also be used for:
- informing other healthcare providers after your explicit consent
- sending invoices and carrying out my accounting
- scheduling appointments
- anonymized data can be used during supervision and intervision sessions
- anonymized data can also be used for professional presentations/training. completed, I will explicitly inform you in advance and ask for your permission. You have the right to decide whether to consent or to consult in advance to consider consent
- when you have specifically signed up for the newsletter, your email address will be stored in the newsletter platform Mailchimp. Your email address will be used to send you the newsletter only and will never be shared with third parties.

The above-mentioned data is processed and stored digitally using Better Health. This online environment for therapists allows me to safely manage client files and facilitates secure communication. I will create an account for you at the start of your therapy. You always have access to your account through the Better Health app. Here you will find all forms, health information such as lab values you share with me, protocols I create for you, and exercises or notes I share with you. You can also find upcoming appointments via the app.


The data in your client file will be kept for at least 20 years, as required by the Law on Treatment Agreement.


Right of access to data
In addition to the above-mentioned information that is always available via the app, you can view your file in my private practice. If necessary for the continuity of the sessions, I can quote reports of the sessions.


Privacy on the invoice
The invoice states:
Your name, address, and place of residence
Brief description such as the nature of the therapy
Date and duration of the session
Costs of the session
