Holistic
Therapy

As a human being you are complex and layered. When we are aware of those layers and they are well connected with each other, the door is open to self-awareness and well-being. Holistic therapy focuses on bringing together and supporting these different facets. Psychology, TRE®, orthomolecular advice, Yoga Nidra, Yoga come together in the sessions.

Psychology

Understanding your own behavior and why you behave or feel this way does not necessarily result in different behaviour. That does not alter the fact that it is an important part of therapy.  In combination with body-oriented work, it forms an important key to self-understanding and healing. Conversations and self-reflection are therefore part of the sessions.

TRE®

Body-oriented trauma therapy goes beyond the conversation and the verbal understanding. Trauma is a physical experience that changes the systems through which we perceive the world, such as the nervous system. This can lead to flashbacks, repeat behavior, and a colored perception that causes us to 'get stuck' in the trauma.

Body-oriented therapy focuses on the physical experience, releasing tension from the body, and regulating the nervous system so that the body becomes a safe place again.

TRE® is a body-oriented practice developed by Dr. David Bercelli. The body's own vibration mechanism is activated through a number of exercises. The body releases tension stored in the nervous system through vibrations.

Orthomolecular Advice

Orthomolecular health focuses on creating balance in the body. This provides the body with the necessary nutrients to function optimally. The body's need for specific nutrients is greater when we have stress, trauma, or a physical. By supporting the body's self-healing capacity, we support the recovery of both body and mind.

The method(s) that suit you...

Your experiences and complaints are personal. There is therefore not one solution that works for everyone. A trajectory therefore always starts with mapping out your experiences and the physical and mental discomfort you experience. That's the starting point. Together we shape the process in which there is room for the body, the mind, the ratio, and how they relate to each other. The therapy therefore extends beyond the sessions and also focuses, where necessary, on adjustments in your lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, and relationships.
